Role overview

Snap is looking for a Business Marketing Specialist for Australia, based in the Sydney office. This person will work closely with the local cross-functional team and partner with Sales, Product, Comms, Experience, and Insights teams across local, regional, and global markets to create and launch marketing programs that support major business goals with advertisers and agencies. The role is an individual contributor position with strong ownership, high visibility, and immediate impact potential. The position reports to the Head of Marketing for MENA and APAC.

What you will do

  • Own the full B2B marketing strategy for the market in partnership with Sales leadership, ensuring campaigns support commercial goals across awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention.
  • Work with Sales teams to shape strong storytelling and go-to-market plans for priority verticals, key moments, and major client initiatives across the product range.
  • Build and deliver integrated, locally relevant marketing programs for advertisers and clients that strengthen Snap’s position with decision-makers and drive full-funnel business results.
  • Coordinate with Brand, Creative, Product Marketing, Creative Strategy, Comms, and other internal teams to execute market-facing initiatives.
  • Partner with the Events team to plan and run owned and sponsored client and industry events.
  • Represent Marketing in internal discussions and help shape important market decisions.
  • Collaborate with B2B marketing teams in other regions to adapt global programs for local needs, exchange best practices, develop pilots, and maintain a consistent but locally relevant brand presence.
  • Define KPIs and measurement approaches for all campaigns, track and report performance, and use results to improve programs and guide investment choices.
  • Monitor competitors, industry trends, and advertiser needs in the region to refine positioning and uncover new opportunities.

Skills and qualifications

This role requires the ability to manage complex stakeholders and multiple projects at the same time. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling administrative and process-heavy work with patience and professionalism. Strong creative thinking is important, along with the ability to turn ideas into effective campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels. Analytical strength is also essential, especially the ability to translate data into practical insights that shape creative strategy. A collaborative, hands-on approach and a genuine interest in Snapchat and B2B marketing are important as well.

Minimum qualifications

  • At least 5 years of relevant marketing experience.
  • Hands-on experience delivering brand campaigns, field marketing, and content initiatives.
  • Strong use of data and insights to shape strategy and demonstrate ROI.
  • Proven success working across teams and building alignment around shared goals.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in marketing for a digital platform, app, or media business.
  • Prior B2B marketing experience.
