Job description

About Snap

Snap is a technology company focused on the camera as a powerful tool for improving how people live and communicate. Its mission is to help people express themselves, stay present, learn about the world, and enjoy shared experiences.

The company operates Snapchat, a visual messaging platform that strengthens connections with friends, family, and the wider world. It also operates Specs Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary focused on making computing feel more natural, along with Bitmoji, Saturn, and other digital products.

The Snapchat Product team brings together product thinking, research, data, and operational execution to build experiences that are meaningful and engaging for a global audience. The group includes designers, product managers, data scientists, researchers, and strategists working across core growth, user experience, Bitmoji, augmented reality, and emerging products.

Role Overview

Snap is hiring a Product Manager to lead high-impact, revenue-sensitive initiatives for the Profile experience across public content surfaces. The role centers on improving how people discover and interact with content, while also supporting media partner and monetization efforts that are important to the broader ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the media partner migration program, working with cross-functional partners to ensure the transition is smooth, carefully sequenced, and protective of both partner experience and revenue continuity.
  • Own product enhancements for Profile Manager and convert the strategy into a clear, actionable roadmap.
  • Support product efforts tied to expansion of Ads inventory.
  • Help define the experience for content discovery and engagement across surfaces such as Spotlight and Discover.
  • Set priorities and coordinate the roadmap across engineering, design, Data Science, and Ads stakeholders.
  • Run and interpret A/B tests related to viewer experience and content partner features.
  • Collaborate with user research to identify improvement opportunities and advocate for users, creators, and media partners to create a better Snapchat experience.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to build a technical product strategy and turn it into a prioritized roadmap grounded in data.
  • Strong technical understanding with confidence discussing complex system-level trade-offs with engineering and design teams.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and align internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative judgment, supported by the ability to use data and metrics to validate decisions.
  • Experience handling complex product migrations or cross-functional dependencies, especially in revenue-sensitive settings or with external media/content partners.
  • Comfort working with Ads and monetization teams while maintaining a strong content experience and business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience, is required. Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience building and launching products at a technology company. Applicants with a master’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience may also qualify.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in a platform, UX, or technical environment.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related subject.
  • Strong experience working cross-functionally, especially with partnership-focused teams.
  • Background working with media partners, content partners, creator tools, or monetization products.
  • Hands-on familiarity with communication technologies, APIs, and related services.

Workplace Expectations

Snap follows a default-together approach and expects team members to work in the office at least 4 days per week.
