Job description
Role Overview
Lift Kingswood in Kingston upon Hull is looking for a committed Attendance Officer to support the school’s effort to improve pupil attendance, participation, and overall achievement. This is a permanent part-time position based onsite at the academy.
Working Pattern and Contract
The post is for 37 hours per week, working term-time plus 10 additional days, which totals 40 working weeks each year. The contract is permanent, and the intended start date is as soon as possible. The vacancy closes on Friday 3 July 2026.
Pay and Benefits
The salary is aligned to NJC spinal points 11 to 14, with an FTE pay range of £28,142 to £29,540. The actual salary for this role is £24,718.63 to £25,946.57. In addition, the role includes a well-being cash plan, membership of the LGPS pension scheme, and other benefits offered by Lift Schools.
Key Duties
In this role, you will take ownership of attendance administration, help the academy meet its legal responsibilities and attendance targets, and work closely with parents and carers to encourage regular school attendance. The job also involves home visits in the local community, careful handling of confidential information, and managing several priorities at once while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
