Role Overview
The Athlete Marketing Manager (AMM) is responsible for crafting and implementing regional strategies to market athletes, managing partnerships with them, and increasing brand exposure through focused campaigns.
Key Duties
- Work closely with marketing teams to establish athlete targets and recruit new talent.
- Design customized branding and communication strategies tailored to individual athletes.
- Handle contract negotiations and oversee the delivery of innovative athlete-focused projects.
- Manage athlete performance by tracking progress and supporting career growth through performance solutions.
- Assist in daily operations by overseeing project workflows, budget allocation, and contributing to business planning efforts.
- Capitalize on global athlete connections and local collaborations to boost brand presence.
Qualifications and Skills
- Three to five years' experience in sports marketing.
- Comprehensive understanding of the sports industry landscape.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management capabilities.
- A proactive, strategic, creative, and results-oriented approach.
- Ability to work autonomously and in team settings effectively.
Additional Information
- Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
- Compensation ranges from $85,360 to $128,040 annually, with additional incentives.
- Benefits package includes health insurance plans, 401(k), among others.
- Travel commitment expected between 20% to 30% of the time.
