Role Overview

The Associate Vice President for Business Strategy and Operations will play a key leadership role in shaping decisions, improving execution, and helping the department grow. The position calls for someone who can work closely with senior leaders, convert data into actionable direction, and deliver outcomes through disciplined execution. This role suits a professional who is both strategically minded and comfortable taking a hands-on approach.

Core Responsibilities

• Create and roll out business strategies that support the company’s mission and the department’s goals.
• Study market movements, competitors, and internal performance data to identify new growth avenues.
• Work with leadership to define short-term and long-term objectives and build practical plans to reach them.
• Carry out strategic initiatives, monitor their progress, and evaluate results against key performance indicators.
• Manage daily operations and improve workflows for better efficiency.
• Use automation systems, dashboards, and reporting tools to track productivity and performance.
• Conduct periodic operational reviews to uncover process gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts using analytical insights and proven operational practices.
• Serve as a connection point between the department and senior leadership to keep priorities aligned.
• Collaborate across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to deliver business results.
• Coordinate with external partners, vendors, or clients when needed to support business objectives.
• Guide and coach managers and analysts while building a strong, collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Set team targets, give regular feedback, and encourage professional development.
• Help create an inclusive, innovative, and results-oriented work environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a similar discipline is required; an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
• Up to 10 years of experience in business strategy, operations, consulting, or program management is expected.
• Prior leadership experience is essential for this role.
• Comfort with data analysis and reporting platforms is important.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills are needed.
• Excellent communication abilities, including presenting to senior leadership, are required.
