Its client base spans corporations, financial institutions, governments, and high-net-worth individuals, and the firm operates from major financial centers including New York, London, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Bengaluru, Hong Kong, and others.

Within FICC and Equities, the firm supports market making and client transaction clearing across major stock, options, and futures exchanges worldwide. The sales organization works with clients to receive orders and share research, trading ideas, market commentary, and analysis.

The New Business Group supports the onboarding of clients for Prime Brokerage, Futures Clearing, and Derivative Clearing Services. As part of the Prime Services Client Franchise, the team partners with clients to understand requirements such as markets, products, financing, reporting, and coverage, then manages each onboarding project from initial mandate through go-live. The group also helps coordinate documentation, legal discussions, operational setup, and regulatory alignment, while connecting clients to the firm’s broader coverage and resources.

What This Role Involves

  • Managing client requests and coordinating with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Working with Sales to set onboarding priorities and communicate them to Legal, Compliance, Credit, Technology, and Operations.
  • Tracking onboarding workstreams, pushing projects forward, and flagging any issues early.
  • Assisting senior team members with day-to-day client queries.
  • Taking direct ownership of client matters as a growing member of the team.
  • Building strong working relationships with clients, third-party vendors, and sales colleagues.

What Goldman Sachs Is Looking For

  • Excellent organization, analysis, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proven leadership capability and a history of strong achievement.
  • Comfort working in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment with clear thinking under pressure.
  • Strong commitment to work quality and motivation.
  • Experience working effectively as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail.
