Job description

Role overview

JPMorganChase is seeking an Associate to join the Consumer Advice growth marketing function, focused on expanding customer acquisition for digital advice and investing products. The role centers on turning market and customer insights into strategy, testing ideas through structured experiments, and driving measurable growth across digital and branch experiences.

This position is suited to someone who enjoys working through ambiguous business problems, collaborating across multiple teams, and using data to create clear recommendations. It offers significant visibility, ownership, and the opportunity to influence growth outcomes.

What you will do

You will support the development, execution, measurement, and communication of marketing initiatives that grow the digital Advice business. The work involves close coordination with Product Marketing, Analytics, Product, Finance, Creative, and other stakeholders across lines of business.

  • Create and deliver customer acquisition strategies and campaigns for digital investing and advice products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Work with Product, Product Marketing, Analytics, Finance, and Creative partners to design and launch cross-functional growth programs.
  • Break down unclear business challenges into testable hypotheses and build experimentation plans such as A/B tests, channel tests, and funnel optimization efforts.
  • Own performance measurement and reporting, including budget monitoring, KPI tracking, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Study customer behavior, acquisition funnels, market trends, and program outcomes to uncover opportunities and recommend improvements.
  • Help maintain a smooth and consistent customer journey across digital and branch touchpoints alongside channel and experience owners.
  • Develop business cases for new growth initiatives, including sizing, expected return on investment, and funding rationale.
  • Prepare concise updates and senior-level presentations that translate complex findings into actionable business narratives.

Required experience and skills

The role calls for a strong mix of analytical thinking, structured project execution, and executive communication. You should be comfortable managing several priorities at once while working in a matrixed environment.

  • At least 3 years of experience in strategy, management consulting, growth or digital marketing, product strategy, or a closely related area.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, including the capability to define success measures and assess results rigorously.
  • Strong project management capability with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including building polished, executive-ready presentations and visuals.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with confidence presenting analysis and recommendations to senior audiences.

Preferred background

  • An MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Experience in financial services, consumer banking, investing, or fintech.
  • Exposure to digital acquisition channels such as paid media, SEO/SEM, email, in-app marketing, or partnerships, along with experimentation methods.
  • Understanding of customer analytics, attribution, and funnel optimization.
