About the Role
Knack RCM is looking for a seasoned Associate Director to oversee Physician Revenue Cycle Management operations across various specialties and client accounts. This senior leadership position is pivotal in enhancing operational performance, boosting revenue, maintaining compliance, fostering client satisfaction, and developing talent within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive Physician Revenue Cycle Management activities including billing, accounts receivable, denial management, payment posting, and quality assurance across large teams.
- Ensure attainment of client service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), productivity, utilization, and financial objectives.
- Strategize and implement workforce planning, resource allocation, and capacity utilization.
- Supervise physician billing operations ensuring clean and timely claims submissions and minimizing errors and rejections.
- Manage accounts receivable processes covering Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care payers to enhance collections and reduce outstanding receivables.
- Analyze denial patterns, institute payer-specific prevention and appeals processes to maximize recovery rates.
- Oversee payment posting accuracy and reconciliation processes to identify and address revenue leakage.
- Serve as the primary escalation contact for strategic clients, conducting monthly and quarterly business reviews, and facilitating client satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA, payer regulations, and healthcare billing compliance standards through quality assurance and audits.
- Monitor financial performance including budgeting and forecasting, and promote process automation to optimize margins.
- Lead management teams with focus on succession planning, coaching, and employee engagement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives incorporating Lean Six Sigma methodologies and digital transformation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support business development efforts by assisting in RFP responses, client presentations, and new opportunity assessments.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 12 years’ experience in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management with strong expertise in Physician Billing operations.
- Proven track record managing large-scale RCM operations and leadership teams.
- In-depth knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Denial Management, Payment Posting, and Client Management.
- Strong familiarity with HIPAA compliance and payer guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence, financial growth, and process improvements.
- Excellent leadership and talent development capabilities.
