Role Overview
The Associate will focus on understanding and analyzing division-specific business metrics and collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to improve reporting tools. This position involves working closely with various teams to monitor strategic initiatives, communicating client engagement priorities, and preparing detailed presentations for senior leadership. The role also includes managing daily operational tasks such as handling inquiries for the corporate access team, processing payments, contributing to product enhancements, and performing consumption analyses for investing clients by maintaining accurate data records.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret business metrics within the division.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to refine and upgrade reporting tools.
- Partner with teams to track and advance departmental strategic projects.
- Communicate client engagement objectives and progress with department-wide team members.
- Create presentations and summaries on client engagement trends for senior team leadership.
- Address day-to-day queries and contribute to the corporate access team’s workflow.
- Manage invoice processing related to corporate access payments.
- Provide input and feedback on product initiatives impacting the team.
- Perform consumption analysis for investing clients and maintain accurate data inputs.
Required Skills and Experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy in data handling.
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities with a focus on data accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
- Sound business judgment and ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills to logically address complex issues.
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; experience with VBA, Macros, SAS, or Python.
- Solid programming background with proficiency in modern languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of professional experience in automation using Python.
- Deep understanding of Python fundamentals including functions, loops, conditionals, and error handling.
- Familiarity with Python data structures like lists, dictionaries, sets, and tuples.
- Experience with automation tools and libraries such as Selenium, Requests, BeautifulSoup, Pandas, or NumPy.
Additional Qualifications
- Previous financial industry experience is advantageous.
- Ability to analyze and handle large data sets efficiently.
- Highly organized with excellent decision-making and documentation skills.
- Capability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Strong presentation and communication skills in both verbal and written forms.
- Self-driven with a proactive attitude and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
