Job Purpose
This role involves partnering with senior leadership to foster a Lean culture throughout the QNB Group. The incumbent will spearhead the Group's Lean and Six Sigma initiatives within the Innovation department by managing a portfolio of Lean projects across the international network with minimal oversight.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Advocate and implement operational excellence through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, overseeing reengineering and end-to-end process improvements to support divisions within QNB Group.
- Collaborate with VP to develop and embed Lean, Six Sigma, and Change Management standards and methodologies across the organization.
- Design and monitor performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational excellence projects, ensuring quality and efficiency are systematically measured.
- Drive initiatives that promote cost reduction, waste elimination, and enhanced productivity in line with the bank’s objectives.
- Deliver training sessions and coaching on Lean Six Sigma approaches to key personnel, fostering awareness and competence within QNB Group.
- Serve as a partner to business and support functions by leading process improvement projects with cross-functional teams.
- Lead multiple projects, managing timelines, budgets, and expected outcomes using DMAIC framework, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
- Analyze data trends and apply statistical process analysis to identify improvement opportunities and address associated risks.
- Provide expert guidance on change management, process redesign, and performance improvement tools including Lean Six Sigma techniques.
- Coach and mentor internal teams to expand Lean Six Sigma capabilities, enhancing service quality and operational efficiency.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for continuous professional development and support skill advancement among subordinates.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, internal policies, and risk management frameworks and contribute actively to a culture of risk awareness and conduct excellence.
- Ensure strict data confidentiality and uphold high professional standards to reinforce QNB's reputational leadership.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support the Group's strategic objectives.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a closely related discipline from a reputable institution.
- At least 10 years of experience in organizational process reengineering, business consulting, project management, or equivalent roles within financial services, demonstrating cross-functional expertise.
- Extensive hands-on experience directing large-scale projects and managing transformational change.
- Certification as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, with a minimum of 5 years of technical leadership and mastery.
- Proven success applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies and a record of coaching multiple projects from inception through completion.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience serving as a lead instructor for training Black Belts and/or Green Belts.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively and foster career growth among team members.
- Strong operational and support knowledge specific to financial services.
