Role Overview

This onsite, full-time position based in Gudivada entails supervising daily housekeeping duties. The supervisor ensures efficient work planning, delegation, and enforcement of cleaning benchmarks across all assigned locations. Responsibilities include room and common area inspections, laundry oversight, management of cleaning supplies and equipment, and upholding safety and hygiene protocols. The role involves training staff, resolving housekeeping issues, and liaising with management and other departments to maintain an organized and sanitary environment essential for uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and organize daily housekeeping tasks and schedules.
• Assign duties to housekeeping personnel and monitor their performance.
• Conduct inspections of rooms and communal areas to ensure cleanliness and upkeep.
• Coordinate laundry services including overseeing stain treatment and equipment use.
• Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning materials and ensure proper utilization.
• Implement safety and hygiene standards in the workplace.
• Train and mentor housekeeping team members to maintain high work standards.
• Address service-related complaints promptly and effectively.
• Facilitate communication between housekeeping, management, and other departments for smooth operations.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capability to lead housekeeping teams.
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, hygiene practices, and upkeep of inventories.
• Hands-on experience with laundry operations, including fabric care and machinery handling.
• Strong customer service and communication skills to manage interactions and address concerns.
• Previous experience in housekeeping supervision within industrial, manufacturing, or hospitality sectors is advantageous.
• Capability to manage shift work and attend to operational requirements onsite at Gudivada.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety norms and health procedures.
• Minimum education level: High school diploma; vocational certifications in housekeeping or facility management would be a plus.
