Assistant Professor of Management, Strategy and Entrepreneurship (Multiple Tracks)

Position Overview

The Department of Management, Strategy and Entrepreneurship (MS&E) at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) is seeking full-time Assistant Professors for multiple faculty tracks. Applicants are invited to join one of the following specialized areas: Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, Strategy and Entrepreneurship, or Strategy and Corporate Governance.

Areas of Expertise

• Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management: Emphasis on management theories, leadership development, group dynamics, conflict resolution, with a preference for candidates who can also teach strategic HR management, people analytics, and training.
• Strategy and Entrepreneurship: Focus on organizational policy, global strategy, competitive analysis, entrepreneurship (including social entrepreneurship), innovation management, and strategic change.
• Strategy and Corporate Governance: Covering strategic management, global strategy, executive compensation, ownership structures, board governance, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will actively participate in research, teaching, and departmental service. Teaching responsibilities span undergraduate, MBA, and PhD courses across the curriculum.

Qualifications

• PhD in Management from an AACSB-accredited university or ABD nearing completion.
• Strong research potential demonstrated by working papers aiming for top-tier management journals.
• Published research in reputable management journals is advantageous.
• Ability and willingness to teach a broad range of management courses at multiple academic levels.
