About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to oversee and implement visual merchandising projects across domestic markets. This role involves managing both outsourced and internal VM projects, ensuring that Jaquar Display Systems are designed, planned, and executed efficiently while maintaining brand standards. The position requires collaboration with dealers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver premium display solutions. Responsibilities also include conducting site visits, managing project inventory, and guaranteeing the punctual completion of all VM initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise outsourced and in-house display system projects, ensuring layouts and designs fulfill dealer approvals.
- Finalize project inventories, develop 3D models, and prepare detailed working drawings for implementation.
- Create Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and oversee the progress of projects, handling escalations effectively.
- Work closely with dealers for layout sanctioning and inventory finalization for each installation site.
- Use AutoCAD to produce precise layouts and working drawings for seamless project execution.
- Utilize SketchUp for 3D modeling and design visualization.
- Enhance project visuals using Photoshop for high-impact presentations.
- Maintain strong partnerships with vendors and dealers to secure timely design and layout approvals.
- Manage inventory coordination to optimize resource use and track project materials.
- Identify obstacles in projects promptly and apply swift resolution to avoid timeline disruptions.
- Ensure clear communication among internal departments and external partners for escalations and project updates.
- Prepare comprehensive BOQs and cost assessments to support budgeting and procurement processes.
- Collaborate with design agencies to refine and finalize layouts that align with brand and project standards.
- Promote cross-departmental teamwork to guarantee smooth VM project execution.
- Offer expertise in material specifications to direct selection and uphold quality in BOQ documentation.
- Incorporate cost optimization and value engineering strategies to maintain design excellence while controlling expenses.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Certifications in AutoCAD and SketchUp are advantageous.
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in visual merchandising, interior design, or project management.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks and Revit is beneficial for advanced 3D modeling and collaboration.
