Role Overview
We are looking for an Art Production Associate to support British Vogue’s production team in London. This role is essential for coordinating between creative, editorial, and operations teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality content. Reporting to Vogue's European Production Director, the associate will manage the editorial workflow, traffic stories efficiently, and facilitate delivery of content assets to global editions within tight deadlines. The position demands versatility and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment handling layouts, images, text, and content management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the European Production Director for Vogue.
- Coordinate with various departments to manage the editorial process for print stories.
- Handle the distribution and approval process of proofs.
- Collect and upload/download editorial materials such as text, layouts, and images for local and international use, including Apple News+.
- Create and maintain editorial communication channels on Slack.
- Conduct quality reviews of layouts before shipment.
- Collaborate closely with Print Production teams.
- Resolve technical issues by liaising with the Technology team.
- Provide occasional support to other brands or markets, including other Vogue editions.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required.
Candidate Profile
- Educational background or internships related to graphic design, publishing, or similar fields.
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign; working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is advantageous.
- Experience with K4 or equivalent content management systems is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively in a cooperative, fast-moving setting.
- Strong, tactful communication skills for interacting with multiple internal stakeholders.
- Comfortable with technology and troubleshooting.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are beneficial.
