Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join a prominent construction industry manufacturer. This opportunity involves driving sales growth of construction materials throughout the Munster region by nurturing client partnerships and expanding business footprint.

Key Responsibilities

• Forge and sustain robust relationships with Builders' Merchants, House Builders, Main Contractors, Brickwork Contractors, and Specifiers throughout Munster.
• Identify fresh business prospects and maximize growth within current client accounts.
• Create and implement tailored business development strategies for key accounts to boost regional market share.
• Oversee project pipelines by preparing timely quotations and schedules, tracking opportunities through to closure.
• Serve as an expert industry representative, delivering advice and effectively promoting lintel and allied building products.

Requirements

• Demonstrable sales experience, preferably in construction or building materials sectors.
• Commercially astute with a client-centric mindset and strong communication abilities.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets within a target-driven atmosphere.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; familiar with CRM tools.
• Holder of a full, clean driving licence willing to travel extensively within Munster.
