About the Role
We are looking for a driven Analyst to join our Loan Capital Markets team. This position provides exposure to a dynamic market-leading platform within a rapid, client-focused setting. The role involves supporting the entire lifecycle of loan capital market transactions including origination, structuring, execution, and syndication for clients across corporates, sponsors, and project finance domains. The team operates collaboratively, interacting directly with senior bankers, clients, syndicate banks, and risk management partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior bankers in executing various loan capital market deals such as corporate revolvers, term loans, acquisition financing, and project finance across multiple sectors and financing advisory projects linked with sponsors, corporate clients, and project finance teams.
- Prepare pitch books, client presentations, transaction documentation, market updates, and strategies for syndication.
- Work closely with bankers in coverage, underwriting, credit, legal, and other internal departments to ensure smooth transaction completion.
- Support transaction execution activities including obtaining internal credit and market approvals, conducting diligence, and reviewing documentation.
- Maintain and update comparables and loan databases to assist in pricing, structuring, and determining transaction terms.
- Handle administrative responsibilities related to transaction execution such as KYC processes, preparing funds flow, document execution, and ensuring loan closing deliverables.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree specializing in finance, economics, or related fields.
- Foundational knowledge of capital structures, loan and fixed income products, as well as loan capital markets.
- Strong skills in analytics, quantitative analysis, and effective written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, financial modeling, and fixed-income valuation techniques.
- A proactive, detail-focused approach with the ability to work efficiently under stringent deadlines while juggling multiple responsibilities in a lean team environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated base salary ranges between $110,000 and $130,000 annually, determined by factors including relevant expertise, education, experience, credentials, and organizational context. Alongside the salary, a comprehensive employee benefits program is available, and qualified employees may receive discretionary bonuses.
