Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounts, and Operations teams to prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Support the Import Team with DA/Label Data preparation and subsequent follow-ups.
- Reconcile sales figures, Accounts Receivable, Returns to Vendor, and General Ledger data with retailer records.
- Document consignment chain sales to report to the COE team for accounting compliance.
- Ensure reconciliation of discounts and offers, obtaining necessary approvals for accounting postings.
- Generate weekly and monthly sales MIS reports.
- Oversee GST return filings, manage GST payments, and assist during GST audits by providing payment challans.
- Manage customer creation processes within the system.
- Record bank receipts from customers and clear AR applications accurately.
- Distribute bi-monthly receivables statements to customers and pursue timely collections.
- Conduct periodic reconciliations with customers and provide monthly provisions relating to discounts, marketing debit notes, etc.
- Maintain detailed records of customer requirements and facilitate smooth communication.
- Handle salary accounting and related tasks for airport staff.
- Assist in calculating and reporting bad debts and provisions.
- Share carton sales and GST collection data with the Finance Head.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in accounting, sales operations, or similar functions.
- Advanced skills in MIS reporting and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of GST filing procedures, SAP software, and compliance processes is preferred.
- Strong communication prowess and excellent organizational skills.
