Job description
Role Overview
This position is based within the front office, functioning on a fast-paced trading floor where you will interact with institutional and corporate clients while overseeing the electronic FX trading platform. As an Analyst in the Currencies Emerging Markets Trading team, you will be instrumental in monitoring and managing the desk's risk, liquidity, and exposure. Your duties span pre-trade analytics, trade execution, and crafting effective risk management strategies for sizeable transactions. You will track market supply and demand, analyze ongoing market trends, and collaborate internally to introduce innovative products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of the electronic FX/NDFs/STIRT trading operations, covering price quoting, risk oversight, and data analysis.
- Address daily client inquiries and fulfill their trading needs promptly.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of market drivers and movements, including their cross-asset effects.
- Analyze business data and the main factors influencing revenues.
- Develop a strong grasp of market fundamentals to ensure effective client trade execution.
- Comply with the firm's risk management frameworks, policies, and relevant legal and regulatory standards.
Candidate Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, KDB, Java, or C++.
- Minimum one year of relevant experience within FX or Emerging Markets FX trading.
- Thorough knowledge of various risk types with the capability to discuss risk mitigation strategies in depth.
- Strong understanding of market drivers with the ability to predict and explain market behaviors.
- Resilience under competitive pressures and commitment to meeting client expectations.
- Effective communication abilities to clearly convey ideas both verbally and in writing, tailoring messages for diverse audiences.

- Practical experience in electronic FX/NDF/STIRT trading environments.
- Advanced skills with Python programming.
- Competence in conducting data analyses and presenting insights clearly.
