Role overview
This Singapore-based Analyst role sits within the Alternatives Capital Formation team, with a focus on Asia Private Credit. The wider team operates across multiple global offices and supports fundraising, investor engagement, and product strategy for an alternatives platform spanning private equity, growth equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, sustainability, secondaries, hedge funds, and liquid alternatives.
In this position, you will work closely with the Private Credit product lead, investing teams, sales teams, and a range of internal and external stakeholders. The role combines market analysis, investor support, product development, communication materials, and due diligence coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Track the private credit market and competitive environment, and build strong domain knowledge across the strategy.
- Support the creation and upkeep of presentation decks, fund updates, and other investor-facing communication materials in collaboration with investment, legal, and compliance teams.
- Identify and analyze potential capital allocators for private credit and assist with investor targeting efforts.
- Help manage ongoing investor due diligence by addressing questions, coordinating responses, and following through on requests in a timely manner.
- Contribute to fund launch and product development work, including fund structuring, positioning, co-investments, private placement memoranda, marketing plans, internal approvals, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare talking points, ad hoc presentations, and materials for the product lead and senior leadership.
- Monitor portfolio track record, developments, and exits while staying current on Goldman Sachs alternatives strategies and regional/global sponsor activity.
- Work with both external investors and internal teams such as institutional client coverage, PWM, committees, legal, risk, compliance, operations, controller, and tax.
- Support the broader team culture and contribute to internal initiatives across the firm.
Candidate profile

Strong analytical ability, commercial judgment, and a high standard of execution are essential. The role also calls for someone who can shift quickly between different workstreams while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of full-time experience in corporate finance, capital markets, fundraising, investor relations, asset management sales, or private credit investing.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver across a broad set of assignments.
- Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Clear communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Leadership qualities and solid project management ability.
- Comfort operating in a dynamic setting with frequent changes in priorities.
- Strong work ethic, entrepreneurial mindset, and eagerness to learn.
- High standards of integrity, motivation, and intellectual curiosity.
