Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Anaesthetic Registrar to join our team immediately. The Anaesthetic Department is consultant-led, ensuring expert care for patients undergoing various procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care support within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to safeguard patient health.
• Work collaboratively in Operating Theatres with surgical teams to administer safe and effective anaesthesia for various procedures.
• Manage patient care on wards, including pain management and monitoring before, during, and after surgery.

Candidate Requirements

• Must possess current and full registration with the Irish Medical Council.
• Experience at the Registrar level in an acute hospital environment is required.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with clinical colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
