Role overview
This full-time, permanent customer service position is based at Tower 1, Laxmi Infobahn Private Limited SEZ, Kokapet, Ranga Reddy District, Telangana. You will support Amazon customers in English, handling questions related to online purchases, identity checks, account protection, and order assistance. In this role, you will serve as the first human contact for customers and help Amazon strengthen its customer-first service experience.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to customer queries by phone, chat, and email.
- Use multiple tools to look up information and guide customers with live solutions.
- Support identity verification and account-security related concerns.
- Spot possible fraud or security risks that could affect the customer experience.
- Solve customer problems independently without relying on scripted replies.
- Deliver high-quality support for account issues and shopping-related concerns.
Work expectations
- Communicate clearly in both spoken and written English.
- Handle computer-based work and move between different systems with ease.
- Be available for shifts across Monday through Sunday.
- Work rotating schedules, mainly including late-night and overnight shifts, with early morning, afternoon, weekend, and overtime work as needed.
- Arrive on time and remain present for the full duration of each shift.
- Stay fully committed to the customer service role while employed at Amazon.
Work environment
You will work from an office setting and spend most of your shift at a desk assisting customers via phone, chat, and email. The workplace is climate-controlled, and the expected dress code is business casual.
