Job description

Role overview

This opportunity is being handled on behalf of a partner organization, which will manage applications and the next stages of the hiring process. The employer is seeking an AI Business Analyst based in Ireland.

The position blends business strategy, process redesign, and applied artificial intelligence. Your focus will be to uncover AI opportunities that create measurable business outcomes, work with stakeholders to turn operational challenges into practical AI solutions, and make sure each idea is both financially justified and feasible to deliver. You will lead discovery sessions, document business processes from end to end, and define solution requirements that can be used by technical and product teams. The role also includes fast experimentation and prototyping using modern AI tools and low-code platforms. Because this is a client-facing and highly collaborative role, you will help connect business goals with technology delivery while keeping governance and regulatory expectations in view.

Key responsibilities

  • Run workshops with stakeholders to surface, rank, and confirm AI opportunities with strong business value.
  • Create structured business cases that include return-on-investment analysis, success measures, and practical feasibility checks.
  • Review current workflows, pinpoint inefficiencies, and redesign processes with AI-enabled improvements.
  • Convert business needs into technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for delivery teams.
  • Develop quick prototypes with no-code and low-code tools, as well as LLM-based frameworks, to test ideas and refine concepts.
  • Contribute to AI governance and compliance work so solutions align with regulatory requirements in financial and enterprise settings.
  • Maintain active stakeholder communication to keep business expectations, delivery progress, and value realization aligned.

Required background

  • At least 3–5+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, process improvement, or digital transformation.
  • Practical exposure to generative AI tools, LLM frameworks, or orchestration platforms such as LangChain or AutoGen.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and build alignment between business and technical teams.
  • Strong capability in process mapping, workflow design, and ROI-focused business case preparation.
  • Familiarity with no-code or low-code platforms used for rapid prototyping and solution testing.
  • Working knowledge of AI governance, model validation, and regulatory issues in financial services or similar regulated environments.
  • Experience with structured data concepts such as ontologies, knowledge graphs, or enterprise data models is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical ideas in clear business language.

What you can expect

  • Fully remote working arrangement for eligible locations across Europe.
  • Flexible engagement on a part-time or full-time B2B contract basis.
  • Involvement in advanced AI transformation work within regulated industries.
  • Hands-on exposure to modern AI tools, frameworks, and enterprise use cases.
  • A role with direct influence on business outcomes and ROI-driven initiatives.
  • A collaborative, cross-functional setting with close stakeholder interaction.
  • Ongoing learning opportunities across applied AI, consulting, and digital transformation.
