Role Overview
Join the People Partnering Team at the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand as an Advisor, People. Based in Wellington, this permanent role involves delivering expert and practical HR guidance across multiple domains such as employment relations, recruitment, and performance management. You'll contribute to enhancing people processes and ensure a consistent, smooth employee experience throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer timely and practical human resource advice spanning diverse functions.
- Collaborate closely with leaders to empower confident decision-making regarding people matters.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Work as part of the People and Capability team to deliver customer-focused outcomes.
Candidate Profile
- Proactive HR professional skilled in offering balanced, solution-oriented advice.
- Experience advising leaders on wide-ranging people issues.
- Good grasp of New Zealand employment legislation and ability to guide leadership accordingly.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices applicable in a practical business context.
- Skilled in coaching leaders with a focus on enabling effective solutions.
- Capacity to manage priorities, handle competing demands, and adapt to evolving conditions.
