Adobe Specialist (After Effects)

Role overview

This contract role is for an Adobe After Effects specialist who can work remotely for 10 to 40 hours per week. The position offers hourly pay ranging from $21 to $70, depending on experience and fit.

What you will do

• Use advanced After Effects expertise to produce polished, engaging motion graphics and video content.
• Examine motion design workflows and project files, then assess them for quality and improvement opportunities.
• Explain creative choices and technical decisions clearly in both written and spoken form.
• Work with cross-functional teams to share feedback and improve creative work.
• Translate complex animation and visual effects techniques into clear guides, documentation, or tutorials.
• Evaluate practical use cases and help develop datasets aligned with current motion design industry practices.

What we are looking for

• Mid-level hands-on experience with Adobe After Effects, backed by a strong portfolio of motion graphics or VFX work.
• Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, with emphasis on animation, compositing, and rendering tasks.
• Excellent communication ability, with the confidence to describe technical ideas to different audiences.
• Good analytical judgment and a careful eye for detail.
• Ability to stay organized, work independently, and balance multiple priorities in a remote setup.
