Overview

We are seeking a motivated Administrative Office Coordinator for the Division of Building Safety to manage administrative functions with considerable independence under the assistant manager's guidance. Performance evaluation includes observations, reports, and results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage office operations including clerical, reception, purchasing, personnel, budget, and travel coordination.
- Oversee and coordinate significant division projects and programs.
- Conduct research, prepare, and analyze information for internal and external reports, projects, and meetings.
- Organize meetings, prepare documentation, set agendas and minutes, and ensure compliance with Florida Sunshine State Laws. Maintain communication with assigned Boards and subcommittees.
- Perform other assigned duties related to office coordination.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent with five years of administrative support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher are required.
- Strong proofreading, organizational, presentation, and communication abilities.
- Preferred computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Terms and Benefits
- Pay Grade 012 ranging from $19.94 to $25.66 per hour depending on education and experience.
- Non-exempt position under FLSA guidelines.
