Overview
Step into the role of Account Manager with one of New Zealand's most trusted home improvement brands, Bunnings. This is an on-site, full-time opportunity based in Christchurch to build rewarding partnerships with commercial and trade clients, including Mandarin-speaking business customers. You'll have the chance to grow an existing client portfolio while working collaboratively and making a meaningful impact on customers’ success.

Responsibilities
- Manage and expand an established portfolio of Trade, Builder, and Commercial clients across Christchurch and surrounding areas.
- Create and implement tailored sales strategies to identify and seize growth opportunities.
- Offer exceptional service to Mandarin-speaking customers, assisting them in navigating Bunnings’ products and solutions.
- Proactively generate new business through networking, reconnecting with former customers, and outreach activities.
- Collaborate closely with in-store teams and Commercial departments to ensure the best customer experience.
- Leverage your product knowledge and commercial insight to provide customized solutions supporting customers’ projects.
- Promote and contribute to a strong safety culture, making safety a central priority.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in Account Management, Business Development, or Commercial Sales roles.
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with confident communication skills in both languages.
- Strong ability to build and sustain long-term customer relationships.
- Skilled at negotiation, influencing, and managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated history of meeting sales goals and identifying business growth areas.
- Comfortable engaging with various stakeholders within trade, construction, commercial, or related sectors.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Commitment to safety standards and exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of the building, trade, or construction sectors is highly valued.
