Job description
About Partly
Partly is an Austin, TX-headquartered company with offices in London, UK, as well as Christchurch and Auckland in New Zealand. New hires connect with their nearest office for onboarding, with travel and accommodation covered for quarterly team gatherings called "Season Openers." Relocation assistance is also available. The London office is the base for this role.
Partly’s mission is to create the first global platform for replacement parts, initially focusing on automotive parts. Founded by former Rocket Lab engineers, they leverage advanced technology to revolutionize the $1.9 trillion industry by making parts cataloging and management digital and scalable. With rapid growth and a global team across Europe and Australasia, Partly supports many leading businesses and startups around the world.
The company is backed by prominent investors including Blackbird Ventures, Square Peg, Octopus Ventures, and notable founders from Rocket Lab, Notion, and Figma. Partly emphasizes a strong culture and values that permeate their work environment.
Role Overview
This role centers on leading Partly’s expansion within the UK independent repairer market by acquiring new partners and modernizing their parts procurement process. The Account Executive will fully own their sales territory, driving end-to-end sales from cold outreach to closed contracts. Reporting to the Repairer Commercial Lead, they will execute high-volume prospecting, demonstrations, and deal closures while collaborating with sales operations and onboarding teams.
The position requires travel across the UK to customer locations, so a valid UK driver’s license is mandatory. Prior experience or familiarity with collision or parts domains is advantageous but not essential as quick learning is valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complete sales cycle including sourcing leads, conducting discovery calls, platform demonstrations, and finalizing contracts.
- Manage and develop relationships within a designated UK region, using local networks to gain access to independent repairers.
- Communicate the value of Partly’s technology clearly, emphasizing time-saving and operational improvement benefits.
- Utilize consultative selling methods by advising repairers on procurement processes and addressing objections confidently.
- Maintain high output of outbound sales outreach via calls, emails, and other channels to build robust pipelines.
- Work in coordination with Revenue Operations and Onboarding to ensure efficient deal progression and handoffs.
- Maintain disciplined CRM practices for pipeline hygiene, forecasting, and timely next steps on active opportunities.
- Provide feedback to Product, Engineering, and Go-To-Market teams to improve offerings based on customer insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2 to 4+ years of success in B2B SaaS sales roles such as SDR or Account Executive.
- Strong proficiency in CRM systems (preferably HubSpot) and modern sales prospecting tools (e.g., Apollo, Surfe).
- Highly resilient and proactive approach to handling objections and driving conversations towards value and ROI.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven in managing high-velocity sales pipelines.
- Confident communication skills with experience engaging senior decision-makers and handling email and proposal writing professionally.
- Technical curiosity to understand repairer workflows and systems and translate these into implementation guidance.
- Growth mindset demonstrating eagerness to improve and incorporate feedback continuously.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for sales outcomes.
Benefits and Perks
- Competitive base salary complemented with equity options for all full-time staff.
- Annual company-wide offsite in New Zealand, including travel and accommodation, fostering team bonding.
- Generous parental leave with three months of full pay for primary caregivers plus a flexible transition back to work.
- Daily provided lunches during weekdays for office-based employees.
- Flexibility in working hours with a preference for office presence.
- Regular team events such as quarterly season openers, monthly catch-ups, and weekly social hours.
- £750 annual wellness stipend usable for a range of health and wellbeing expenses for employees and their families.
