Role overview
This position is for a Small Business Account Executive focused on the Nordics market. The role is centered on outbound selling, lead generation, prospect research, and creating targeted outreach plans to win new business with HubSpot software. You will conduct online product demonstrations, present the value of HubSpot clearly, and manage the full closing process for small and mid-sized customers. The job can be performed from a home office or the Dublin office in an inside sales setup.
Applicants may work from the office, in a flexible arrangement, or remotely from the Republic of Ireland depending on preference. Remote candidates must be based in the Republic of Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Spot the business challenges prospects are facing and recommend the most suitable sales and marketing solutions.
- Consistently close new deals at or above target.
- Develop and maintain relationships with highly qualified opportunities at small and mid-sized businesses.
- Strengthen connections with prospects and internal partners to support new revenue growth.
- Work closely with the marketing and technology teams to adjust sales approaches when new products and features are launched.
- Contribute ideas, perspective, and expertise to help advance HubSpot's mission.
Requirements
- Applicants for the remote option must be located in the Republic of Ireland.
- At least 1 year of experience in closing sales.
- Strong command of English.
- Fluency in a Nordic language or prior exposure to the Nordic market is an advantage, though not mandatory.
- Excellent consultative selling and deal-closing ability.
- Strong forecasting accuracy and pipeline management skills.
- Proven record of high performance, such as exceeding quota or earning President's Club recognition.
- Clear focus on goals and a disciplined approach to achieving them.
- For top performers, strong communication, time management, and adaptability are important for success in a remote environment.
- Experience in a fast-growing scale-up setting is valued.
- Interest in helping businesses grow and curiosity about the technology sector are preferred.
- A humble attitude and genuine enthusiasm for the work are expected.
