About the University

Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU), located in Dudhola, Palwal, Haryana, is the state’s first government skill university. It was created under the Government of Haryana Act 25 of 2016 and operates from its transit campus in Gurugram. The university offers a range of skill-based programs, including certificate, diploma, degree, postgraduate degree/diploma, and Skill Ph.D. courses. Its academic model combines classroom learning with apprenticeship and on-the-job training.

Academic Positions

SVSU is seeking eligible candidates for academic roles across multiple disciplines. The available areas and number of posts are listed below:

• Robotics and Automation: 2 posts
• CS/IT: 5 posts
• Graphic Design and Communication: 1 post
• Management Finance: 1 post
• HR with advanced computer knowledge: 1 post

Eligibility and Qualification

Applicants must satisfy the relevant UGC, AICTE, or ICAR standards, as applicable. The required qualifications vary by discipline:

• Robotics and Automation: M.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering. Preference will be given to candidates with experience or project exposure in Embedded Systems, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), or Humanoid Robotics.
• CS/IT: M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Artificial Intelligence.
• Graphic Design and Communication: A bachelor’s degree or a minimum 4-year diploma in Design, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, or Architecture; or a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with first class or equivalent along with a master’s degree or equivalent postgraduate diploma in a relevant discipline with first class or equivalent in related areas such as Industrial Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Architecture, Interaction Design, New Media Studies, Design Management, Ergonomics, Human Factors Engineering, Indian Craft Studies, and allied fields. Candidates must also have at least 2 years of professional design experience in industry, a research organization, or design studios.
• Management: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline plus a Master’s degree in Business Administration, PGDM, CA, ICWA, or M.Com with first class or equivalent, along with 2 years of professional experience after obtaining the master’s degree.

Remuneration

Guest faculty pay will be according to UGC norms.

• All other eligible categories: Rs. 250, including Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, Ex-Servicemen, Women, and EWS applicants
• Physically disabled candidates are exempt from paying the fee
