Job Overview
We are seeking a recent graduate to become a part of our Training and Organizational Development team within A*STAR. This role aims to assist in implementing and enhancing leadership programs crafted by A*STAR's Learning and Organizational Development (L&OD) team while coordinating training initiatives focusing on functional and core competencies for A*STAR IME personnel. The position involves hands-on support for training logistics, employee communication, and training progress monitoring. Additionally, you will gain exposure to applying leadership frameworks and competency models in real-world scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the local implementation and improvement of leadership development programs developed by the L&OD team.
- Facilitate the delivery of functional and core competency training modules for staff at A*STAR IME.
- Guide employees in accessing and using learning platforms for self-paced training courses.
- Follow up with both employees and supervisors regarding pending or incomplete training activities.
- Support the administration and scheduling associated with performance management processes.
- Participate in organizing and executing initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational culture and employee engagement.
- Provide coordination efforts for managing change related to new programs or system deployments.
- Collect and consolidate feedback and data to help inform organizational development actions.
Requirements
- Recent graduate or up to one year of professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong organizational capabilities with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, comfortable interacting with staff across all levels.
- Proficient in using spreadsheets, trackers, and basic reporting tools.
- Interest or understanding of adult learning methodologies.
- A proactive mindset with eagerness to learn and take initiative.
- Ability to juggle multiple assignments and meet deadlines effectively.
