Job description
Role Overview
As an Application Support Engineer, your primary responsibility is to act as a software detective, dynamically identifying and resolving issues affecting critical business system components. Your day-to-day activities include troubleshooting software challenges, analyzing system performance, ensuring reliable application operations essential for business processes, and interacting with users to understand and address their problems. Maintaining a proactive approach to monitoring and enhancing system functionality is key.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate independently while aiming to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Actively participate and contribute in team discussions and problem-solving sessions.
- Provide effective solutions to work-related challenges.
- Assist in establishing and applying best practices for supporting applications.
- Engage in ongoing learning to remain current with emerging technologies and methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency and at least 3 years of experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Strong analytical capabilities coupled with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience in software debugging and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with tools used for monitoring application performance.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Educational qualification of at least 15 years of full-time education.
