About the Role
At mika AI, we simplify accounting for small and medium-sized businesses by automating repetitive tasks with AI while our team ensures accuracy. As we rapidly grow and support hundreds of customers, we're looking for a Junior Customer Success Manager to join our team. You won't be just a tier-three support contact; from day one, you'll be the primary voice customers interact with. Collaborating closely with a small, transparent team, you'll have meaningful influence on mika's evolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide new customers through onboarding—from initial setup to confident use of the platform.
- Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries, feedback, and minor issues via chat, email, or calls.
- Ensure smooth pipeline operations so customers always understand the next steps.
- Identify recurring customer challenges, gaps in onboarding flow, and opportunities for automation.
- Lead your own project, such as expanding the knowledge base, improving onboarding, or testing new workflows.
- Represent customer perspectives directly within the team, acting as a liaison between Accounting, Product, and Founders.
Qualifications
- Some initial customer-facing experience, whether in customer success, support, account management, or student roles involving client interaction.
- Basic comprehension of accounting or tax concepts; a background in business administration or commercial training is sufficient; further knowledge will be provided.
- Clear and empathetic communication skills in both German and English (approximate B2 level).
- Structured thinking that goes beyond isolated problems to understanding underlying processes.
- Practical, solution-oriented mindset: you prefer presenting ideas rather than problems and actively tackle challenges.
- Motivation to contribute and grow within a fast-expanding startup environment.
Benefits
- Fully remote work within Germany or Austria; Berlin-based team events are optional.
- Flexible working hours with trust and personal responsibility, no fixed 9-to-5 schedule.
- Clear career growth potential aligned with company expansion.
- A small, supportive team culture where colleagues have each other's backs.
- Opportunities to shape a product that addresses real customer problems.
