About the Role

This position invites a People & Culture Advisor to join the People Advice team within the broader People & Culture department. You will offer exceptional internal customer service by addressing employee-related questions, enhancing the capabilities of our people leaders through coaching on employee relations cases, and supporting various training sessions, change management initiatives, and projects. You will collaborate closely with People & Culture Business Partners to assist different business areas with all people-related matters.

We are a connected, shared services People Advice team serving as the primary contact for generalist People & Culture inquiries across New Zealand and Australian business operations. Our mission centers on improving daily experience by providing outstanding service to employees and managers. We prioritize collaboration, mutual support, knowledge sharing, problem-solving, and maintaining an enjoyable work environment with humor and camaraderie.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant will have a solid foundation in generalist human resources through previous roles such as Advisor or Coordinator, along with sound understanding of New Zealand employment laws. While knowledge of Australian employment legislation is advantageous, it is not essential. You will exhibit a proactive attitude, a passion for establishing connections at all organizational levels, and a practical approach to complex conversations, thriving in ambiguous situations by guiding toward effective solutions. Providing professional, prompt service is a core value, and a willingness to actively engage and foster team culture is expected.
