Role overview
This role focuses on recruiting for non-IT positions, with an emphasis on bulk and volume hiring. The recruiter will partner with business leaders, source candidates from job portals and resume databases, manage screening, and support interview coordination across multiple locations.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with managers and senior stakeholders to understand hiring needs for open positions.
- Gather detailed role requirements and candidate expectations from the hiring team.
- Create compelling job advertisements and publish them across relevant hiring platforms.
- Identify potential candidates through LinkedIn, Naukri, and other resume sources, and proactively reach out about open roles.
- Review incoming applications, shortlist suitable profiles, and complete initial telephonic screening when needed.
- Arrange and conduct interviews with prospective candidates.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of sourcing experience in bulk hiring or non-IT recruitment is preferred.
- Prior experience hiring for BPO roles, including voice and non-voice processes, is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organization, prioritization, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of HR processes and best practices.
- Ability to research emerging industry practices independently.
- Leadership capability, including task delegation and recognizing team strengths.
- Must be able to meet agreed deadlines and targets.
