Job Details

Employment type: Part-time or full-time
Work hours: Evenings
Compensation: $14 per hour, paid weekly

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain all floor types through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming
Handle chemical cleaners and cleaning machinery carefully to avoid damage to flooring and surroundings
Maintain restrooms, meeting areas, hallways, and entrances in a clean state
Empty trash receptacles appropriately and operate compactors for certain waste materials
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with suitable products and tools
Spot treat carpets and assist with carpet extraction and shampooing tasks
Restock paper goods and sanitary materials as needed
Adhere to the housekeeping schedule consistently
Operate heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers when required
Perform other tasks as assigned based on client or work requirements

Mandatory Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months’ experience in janitorial work
Willingness to learn on the job through provided training
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions accurately and diligently

Desirable Skills

Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial positions
Knowledge of custodial standards and commercial cleaning procedures
Familiarity with floor care methods including buffing and waxing
Background in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus
