Job Details

• Employment type: Part-time or full-time
• Work hours: Evenings
• Compensation: $14 per hour, paid weekly

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all floor types through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming
• Handle chemical cleaners and cleaning machinery carefully to avoid damage to flooring and surroundings
• Maintain restrooms, meeting areas, hallways, and entrances in a clean state
• Empty trash receptacles appropriately and operate compactors for certain waste materials
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with suitable products and tools
• Spot treat carpets and assist with carpet extraction and shampooing tasks
• Restock paper goods and sanitary materials as needed
• Adhere to the housekeeping schedule consistently
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers when required
• Perform other tasks as assigned based on client or work requirements

Mandatory Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months’ experience in janitorial work
• Willingness to learn on the job through provided training
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and diligently

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial positions
• Knowledge of custodial standards and commercial cleaning procedures
• Familiarity with floor care methods including buffing and waxing
• Background in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus
