Role Overview
We are seeking a warm and dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our award-winning team at Elvy Court Care Home in Sittingbourne. In this position, you will cooperate with your team to uphold high standards of cleanliness and laundry services, ensuring a comfortable, tidy environment for our residents by adhering to our housekeeping and laundry protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all cleaning duties as detailed in the provided worksheets.
- Recognize various surface types and appropriate cleaning materials to maintain the home in excellent condition.
- Respect residents' dignity and personal belongings at all times while maintaining cleanliness standards.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should embody our core values: caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable. Candidates must possess:
- Knowledge of Health and Safety standards, including Moving and Handling, Fire Safety, and COSHH regulations.
- Experience in managing laundry services within a public or care environment.
- A compassionate approach and dedication to delivering superior housekeeping and laundry services.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to variable responsibilities promptly.
Additional Information
- This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, with fees covered by Avery Healthcare.
