Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, the General Manager guides the entire hotel’s leadership, operational success, financial outcomes, and the quality of the guest experience. This leadership role provides comprehensive strategic oversight across all hotel departments while nurturing a culture emphasizing accountability, cooperation, and outstanding service. The General Manager acts as the primary leader ensuring operational excellence, financial health, an engaged workforce, and exceptional satisfaction for guests, owners, and brand collaborators. Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • At least five years of progressive leadership experience in hotel operations, including previous roles as General Manager, Hotel Manager, Director of Operations, or similar executive positions.
  • Proven record of leading hotel operations to meet financial, operational, and guest satisfaction targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, Sales, and Revenue Management.
  • Strong financial expertise including budgeting, forecasting, managing labor costs, profit and loss responsibility, and controlling expenses.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Capability to develop high-performing teams and cultivate a culture of accountability, teamwork, and ongoing improvement.
