Collection Executive / Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a responsible and disciplined Collection Team Leader to lead our collections team effectively. The candidate will drive the team towards achieving collection targets while ensuring excellent customer interaction standards, compliance, and overall team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the collections team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly collection goals.
• Take full responsibility and accountability for the performance of the collections team.
• Monitor collection activities and ensure timely follow-ups with customers.
• Drive consistent productivity, quality, and recovery achievements within the team.
• Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and results.
• Enforce discipline, punctuality, and adherence to company rules.
• Conduct daily team meetings and performance evaluations.
• Analyze collection reports to identify areas for improvement.
• Handle customer escalations professionally and resolve issues quickly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and ethical collection procedures.
• Collaborate with internal departments to expedite issue resolution.
• Compile and submit daily and monthly management information system (MIS) reports.

• Experience in BFSI, NBFC, Banking, Fintech, Telecom, or BPO collections is advantageous.
• Good understanding of collection processes, delinquency management, and recovery methods.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and basic reporting tools.
