Role Overview
As a Commis Chef, you will be an integral member of our kitchen team, maintaining rigorous standards of health, safety, and personal hygiene. Your key responsibility is to prepare creative and exceptional dishes that go beyond guest expectations, ensuring satisfaction. Effective communication with kitchen colleagues is essential, including receiving constructive feedback graciously and efficiently executing instructions. The role demands composure during multitasking, as you will handle multiple orders simultaneously within tight deadlines. Additionally, you are expected to perform fundamental food preparation and organizational tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen and enhance guest experience.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in Food & Beverage or restaurant operations
- Strong enthusiasm for teamwork
- Exceptional guest service capabilities
- Basic understanding of food preparation, presentation, and preservation methods
- Fundamental knowledge of hygiene and safety protocols
