About the Role
We have a remarkable opportunity for a committed Regional Operations Director to lead multiple care homes across Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex. This healthcare provider specializes in nursing, residential, dementia, and respite care, operating new-build facilities that offer exceptional luxury and high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee strategic and day-to-day operations of all care homes and services in the East region.
- Support and mentor operations managers to ensure excellent care delivery and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain or enhance CQC ratings for all regional homes to Good or Outstanding levels.
- Drive ongoing improvements in care quality, resident satisfaction, and clinical results.
- Manage regional occupancy, revenue, and EBITDA goals with full accountability.
- Control regional budgets and seek cost efficiencies without sacrificing care quality.
- Assist with recruitment, retention, and succession planning for management roles across the region.
- Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture prioritizing staff well-being and lowering turnover rates.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive senior leadership experience in care home or healthcare operations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple sites or services simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of CQC standards and adult social care regulations.
- Strong track record in quality improvement and addressing underperformance.
- Commercially savvy, with experience overseeing P&L or budgeting responsibility.
- Exceptional people leadership skills focused on talent development.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience operating at regional director level or equivalent.
- Knowledge of care market dynamics and local commissioning environments.
- Experience in supporting new home launches or acquisitions.
Mandatory Requirements
Candidates must hold a Registered Manager qualification or have equivalent clinical/care leadership experience.
Compensation and Work Details
The successful candidate will receive a competitive annual salary of GBP 85000, working 40 hours per week from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. This is a permanent full-time role.
