About the Role
Vivek Travels Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Tender Executive to manage bid processes on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. Based in Netaji Subhash Place, Delhi, this position involves overseeing tender opportunities, preparing accurate bids, and ensuring compliance with government procurement protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify relevant tender opportunities on the GeM platform.
- Thoroughly analyze and understand tender documentation requirements.
- Prepare and submit precise bids before the stipulated deadlines.
- Maintain and regularly update the company's profile and listings on the GeM portal.
- Liaise with internal departments to gather necessary information and obtain approvals.
- Monitor the progress and status of submitted bids and address any queries promptly.
- Keep organized records of all tender-related documents and decisions made.
- Generate reports to assess and track tender performance metrics.
- Ensure strict adherence to all GeM portal regulations and government procurement norms.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Graduation with a B.Com degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- Between 3 to 5 years of experience specifically in managing tenders on the GeM portal, preferably in the car rental domain.
- Comprehensive understanding of the GeM portal functionalities including listing processes, bidding protocols, documentation and reverse auction procedures.
- Familiarity with procurement-related regulations such as GST, Earnest Money Deposit (EMD), and Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG).
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Analytical aptitude to evaluate tender results and optimize bidding strategies over time.
