IT Support Officer (Entry / Junior)

Overview

SM ARC Property Intelligence is seeking an entry-level IT Support Officer to help keep internal technology running smoothly. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys solving technical problems, supporting users, and building hands-on experience with modern IT systems.

You will be part of the team that ensures devices, applications, and everyday IT services operate efficiently so staff can work without disruption.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for basic hardware, software, and general IT support issues.
• Set up, configure, and maintain devices such as desktops, laptops, printers, and related equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve problems involving systems, networks, and applications within a reasonable timeframe.
• Help create user accounts, reset passwords, and manage access rights and permissions.
• Carry out software installations, apply updates, and complete routine maintenance tasks.
• Record support tickets, fixes, and internal IT procedures for future reference.
• Keep track of IT assets and assist in maintaining a safe, dependable technology environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve IT support delivery and internal processes.

Requirements

• Foundational understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and basic networking ideas.
• Working familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, and common office productivity tools.
• Good problem-solving ability and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to handle several requests at once and decide priorities effectively.
• Interest in learning new tools and developing technical skills further.
