About the Role
As a Store Person at our Kewdale location, safety is paramount. We prioritize creating a secure working environment where everyone can safely complete their day. This role involves maintaining a tidy, well-organized warehouse while efficiently picking, packing, and dispatching stock orders with accuracy and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders
- Meeting operational deadlines promptly
- Providing customer service support as required
- Supporting team members with various tasks
- Organizing the storeroom and ensuring safety protocols are upheld
- Actively contributing to a culture of safety that ensures everyone goes home safe
Additional Duties
This role requires physical activities such as lifting heavy items, bending, climbing, and operating machinery or driving safely.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in warehouse operations focusing on receiving and dispatching goods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Possession of a current driver’s license; forklift license is a plus
- Physical ability to lift weights up to 20 kilograms
- Dedication to safety standards and fostering collaborative relationships
- Eagerness to learn new skills
- Effective communication and organizational capabilities
- Motivated to consistently deliver high-quality performance and improve standards
