Job Overview

The Warehouse Clerk will be responsible for handling receiving, unloading, shelving of supplies, and maintaining warehouse organization and safety. The role involves overseeing inventory controls, quality assurance for audits, and optimizing space utilization to maintain a clean and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and properly shelve incoming supplies and products
• Conduct inventory checks and uphold quality standards during audits
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and optimize the use of available space
• Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse staff and monitor performance outcomes
• Inspect products for any defects or damages before storage or shipment
• Review and examine shipments both incoming and outgoing for accuracy and condition
• Organize warehouse layout to ensure efficient utilization of space
• Process, package, and dispatch orders with accuracy
• Keep detailed and accurate records of inventory and stock management systems
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate timely and accurate receiving and shipping of goods
• Report any inventory discrepancies or irregularities to the warehouse supervisor promptly

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse setting
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Basic numeracy skills for inventory counting and verification
