The Amazon Worldwide Operations team powers the company's consistent, world-class fulfillment and customer service experience. We seek motivated, adaptable, and innovative professionals for our India Operations group to lead strategic, high-visibility projects and apply Lean methodologies to improve operational processes.
Role Overview
As an Operation Executive (OE), you will oversee multiple third-party (3P) stores focusing on operations, performance, compliance, and design. Collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders, you will enhance operational efficiency, quality, speed, and cost-effectiveness. Ownership, customer obsession, and analytical skills are crucial to identify patterns, disruptions, and data-driven insights.
The position follows a 5-day work week; however, due to 7-day operational demands, your two scheduled days off will vary based on shift schedules and business needs. Travel to stores for operational setup, monitoring, and compliance is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the functioning of assigned 3P stores and drive operational improvements.
- Analyze data from multiple sources to make informed decisions and take necessary actions.
- Anticipate the impact of current trends and data patterns on operations.
- Maintain organization, promptly report issues, perform problem-solving, and implement recurrence prevention measures.
- Act as a bridge between internal teams and external partners, ensuring adherence to objectives, constraints, and information privacy.
- Train and guide associates in compliance with company norms and best practices.
- Conduct site visits to ensure operational compliance and adherence to standards.
- Perform operational checklists following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Communicate effectively with teams and other operational stakeholders.
- Manage Amazon-driven processes at 3P store locations.
- Conduct daily and weekly site audits.
- Travel to store locations as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in customer-facing roles, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
- Proficient in spoken, written, and reading English.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
