Role Overview
This position is for an experienced backup and integrations support professional who will work with Veeam-based enterprise environments, including cloud integrations across AWS and Azure. The role is focused on L2/L3 support activities rather than first-level support.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain backup workflows and integrations across Veeam, AWS, and Azure.
- Handle second- and third-level support issues; this role does not include L1 support.
- Investigate and resolve backup job failures.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring or critical incidents.
- Support tape library technologies such as MSL and StoreOnce, along with similar systems.
- Work on SAN connectivity-related troubleshooting and validation.
- Coordinate escalations and follow-ups with Veeam support teams.
- Support operations in an enterprise-scale backup environment.
