About the Opportunity

The IT Technician I position involves offering remote reactive and proactive IT support. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical problems, carrying out maintenance duties, and maintaining excellent client satisfaction with prompt, efficient service. This role is crucial for preserving system stability and supporting uninterrupted business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to urgent support tickets and client inquiries to identify and solve technical issues remotely.
• Provide assistance across various shifts to maintain 24/7 operational coverage.
• Troubleshoot operating systems including Windows and macOS, along with printers, peripherals, and standard office applications.
• Support typical business applications, liaising with vendors as necessary.
• Handle basic network connectivity troubleshooting.
• Execute patch management, system updates, and address vulnerabilities.
• Manage disk space, update firmware, and optimize system performance.
• Perform routine IT maintenance and monitor alerts for required remediation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Hands-on experience resolving issues in Windows and macOS environments.
• Background in Helpdesk or Technical Support.
• Proficient in application troubleshooting, PC deployment and imaging, and managing user profiles.
• Experience collaborating with external vendors.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365/Office, Adobe software, Active Directory, backup utilities, endpoint security, and mobile device management.
• Preferred experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) setting.
• Home office equipped with necessary technical setup including appropriate hardware, stable internet, audio and video devices, a second monitor, and uninterruptible power supply if applicable.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Available to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time.
• Must be able to pass behavioral and cognitive evaluations.
• Preferred certifications include two of the following: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or 3cx Basic Certified Engineer.
• Philippine applicants should be able to provide NBI clearance.

Compensation

The pay rate begins at $4.68 per hour and may differ depending on individual experience and geographic location.
