About the Role

We are seeking an Insurance Coordinator based in Nairobi, Kenya to join our dynamic team. This full-time, onsite position involves managing insurance payer portals with a focus on client onboarding and account management in the healthcare sector. Working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, the successful candidate will help ensure smooth payer portal integrations and a seamless onboarding experience for healthcare clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain access to insurance payer portals used by healthcare clients.
  • Set up, configure, and manage administrator and collector accounts on multiple payer platforms.
  • Coordinate login credentials and control user access permissions across various platforms.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients by acquiring and validating required insurance access details.
  • Link payer portal accounts to internal company systems and dashboards for monitoring.
  • Confirm successful system integrations and troubleshoot any portal access problems.
  • Keep comprehensive records of credential information, permissions, and account statuses.
  • Engage with clients directly to collect necessary documentation and access information.
  • Monitor onboarding progress and update internal tracking systems accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success and Operations teams to facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to logins, connectivity, and access rights.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in healthcare administration, insurance coordination, client onboarding, account management, or similar fields.
  • Familiarity with web-based systems and online portals.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English (minimum C1 level).
  • High attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.

  • Experience working directly with healthcare insurance payer portals.
  • Knowledge of medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare operations.
