Role Overview
An opportunity is available for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to join a high-performing team in Napier. This position suits someone who wants to work in a supportive, stable, and safety-focused environment with access to quality training and long-term career growth.
What You Will Do
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems.
- Make sure all work is completed to industry requirements and customer expectations.
- Keep accurate records of labour, materials, and completed job details.
- Discuss system performance and repair needs with clients.
- Look for opportunities to strengthen customer relationships and expand service offerings.

- You take initiative in training and keep up with changes in the fire protection industry.
- You show pride in your workmanship and genuine interest in fire safety.
- You contribute positively to a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in the fire industry.
- Comfortable using computers.
- Full New Zealand driver’s licence.
- Clear communication skills and a practical, positive approach.
Benefits and Compensation
- Pay range of $30 to $40 per hour, based on experience.
- $2,000 sign-on bonus, subject to terms and conditions.
